SUBSIDIUM - THIRD LINE OF DEFENSE

Subsidium is a name derived from Latin and means "troops stationed in reserve in the third line of battle."  Members to this day consider themselves to be in the "third line of battle" behind parents and teachers when dealing with a child's hearing loss.
